This is called the King's Bowl. It is right in the Great Rift, which is a crack in the earth's crust that runs for a long way across Idaho, not very technical I don't know how long it is but this is all in the Craters of the Moon National Park. When Dad and Mom first got married they went with friends and tied a rope ladder over the edge of this and went down. You used to be able to see their initials on the edge of the cliff, but it has weathered away.
