Us and the World.....

Well, here it is March already! The time goes so fast. On March 2nd, Oakley and the rest of the second grade classes had a program in honor of Dr. Seuss. Here is the little birthday song they sang:

Happy Birthday to little Sally Spingle Spangle Sporn, who on this wondrous day was born. And happy birthday also, to Fredric Futzenfell, who was born upon this wondrous day as well. And happy birthday also, to Waldo Wilberforce. Happy birthday like-wise, to Paul Revere's fine horse. But most of all, we sing to honor you DR. SEUSS! Born upon this great, great, great day too!  Posted by Picasa

Cedar has been taking a Tumbling and Cheer class. She loves it and never stops doing cartwheels. They will have a little performance on the 18th of March.  Posted by Picasa

February 24th was Pat's 35th birthday! This pic wasn't very good but it was the only pic that showed the fancy poker table in the kitchen. Pat planned his own party, so pretty easy for me. He had something like 15 to 20 guys here playing poker. Our house was packed. He borrowed the table and had people bring extra chairs. Pat didn't win the big pot but had alot of fun. Friends brought him beer and a some funny b-day cards. We had a great night and it was just what Pat wanted. Posted by Picasa

I am finally sitting down and getting some pics posted. The kids have been keeping pretty busy lately. Oakley just finished his first month of basketball, I don't know how much he enjoyed it, he was a good player but kept reminding me how boring it was cause you just run back and forth and back and forth. It made me laugh. But he still says soccer is way more fun.  Posted by Picasa
