I just wanted to post a quick collage to show our Halloween. We all had a blast and spent some great times with friends. If you don't know what Pat is he is the main character from the 1971 movie A Clockwork Orange, he was scary, I am a zombie and Oakley is from Scream and Cedar is a sweet, cute black cat. I will post some more pics later. Happy Halloween! Posted by Picasa

Here our little cat face spider friend. I thought this would look good at the top of my blog for Halloween. (eeeek!) Posted by Picasa

These two pics of Oakley, Cedar and Mariah are from this weekend. Mariah helped us do some paper mache monster heads and then they painted there pb&j sandwiches with food coloring and milk. We all had a fun time being all creative & stuff.  Posted by Picasa

This is in the wrong order, I don't know what happened. Posted by Picasa

This past few weeks we had a few other fun events. My sister had a birthday on October 13th, mom and dad headed to Bullhead, Arizona until Thanksgiving, we will miss them, but we are jealous of the nice hot weather they are having. Friday the 21st, Pat thought he would have a little get together for poker and it ended up being a whole houseful. I think they had 10 people around our dining table playing. The kids that came over played red rover in the back yard until they turned to ice cubes, we had to drag them in. I loved having friends over and the kids had a blast.  Posted by Picasa

We have been pretty busy lately. Fall soccer ended and Oakley loved it this season, we plan on having pretty much the same team and coaches for Spring soccer, which will be nice because all the kids had fun together and they made a great team. Here are a few pics of the last game and we all went and ate at Goody's afterward.  Posted by Picasa

Montana was in a playful mood today and he was so dang cute. I just love him so much! He is 11 years old this year, he was born in July 1994. He still plays like he is a puppy, I think having Archie around keeps him young too. Posted by Picasa

Kelsey and her boyfriend flew back to Pocatello from Illinois to watch Brennan play football, it was great to see them. They look so cute in this pic

Just wanted to post another pic. From left to right: Dewey, Hewey, Grandma Jeanne, Great Grandma Palmer, and Pat. Posted by Picasa

There was another exciting event over the weekend. We made a cake and went to celebrate the grandmas' birthdays. These two beautiful ladies let us stay with them for a little over 5 months when we moved back from Hermiston. We love them so much. It is amazing because Oakley and Cedar have there Great Great Grandma Palmer, who turned 94 on Sept. 29th and then Great Grandma Jeanne, who will turn 78 on October 7th. It is such a wonderful thing to have these guys in our lives and that they can be part of Oakley and Cedar's lives. Happy Birthday! We didn't get quite enough candles for these guys, we would have needed alot bigger cake. Posted by Picasa

Today is Wednesday and Pat is doing great. He ended up having to go to the hospital four times for an IV antibiotic. The last one was Sunday night. This bite sure made our weekend interesting. The doctors don't know what it really was and we will probably never know. The good thing is the bite area looks really good now and it doesn't seem like it will turn black and leave a big scar, that is what they say happens with a hobo bite, who knows. Whatever it was it was bad, hopefully it never happens again.  Posted by Picasa

Here is some of the area they outlined to show if the infection has spread.  Posted by Picasa

Well here I am at 12:30am still posting this, but besides all that stuff Pat woke up this morning because his arm was hurting really bad. So we find this big red swollen bump on his wrist and along with that there were red marks going all the way up his arm to his armpit. He went to the emergency room and they figured it was a spider bite, so gave him lots of medicine and sent him home. He didn't feel to bad all day because they gave him a good pain killer, but by 9:00pm tonight I was feeling that it didn't look good at all so we went back to the emergency room and they ended up giving him an IV antibiotic and he has to go in every 8 hours to get more. Its pretty scary. One guy at the hospital said it was the worst case he had seen because the infection spread all up Pat's arm. So I thought I'd keep pics of this and see how is goes. They say sometimes a spider bite can take 2 months to 2 years to heal. I can't imagine, but will keep you updated on his recovery. Yeck! Posted by Picasa

After the party Friday the kids got to bed pretty late and then had to get up to go to The Big Dog Run, this is an event that Grandma Cynda has been in for 3 years now. She signed herself and Fritz and then Oakley and Archie up and they get a t-shirt goodies for the dogs all sorts of cool stuff and then you walk or run with your dog on a 2.5k trail. There were over 225 dogs and their people at the walk. Quite exciting, Cedar and I walked with Montana and all three dogs did a great job of behaving and just totally loved the day. We saw one dog fight, but neither got hurt bad. I was so amazed that all these dogs could just hang out and be so sweet.  Posted by Picasa

Teresa is the scary witch. She is amazing! Posted by Picasa

We have had a couple of fun days this Friday and Saturday. Friday, some friends of ours, put on a great Halloween Party for the kids. Before we had moved to Hermiston we had been to the party two times and the kids always talked about it the rest of the year. It is such an exciting thing for them. Maddie's grandma and grandpa work hard for this and make it an awesome event. The kids are Madison, Cedar, Maddie, Mason, Oakley and Colter. They had to do an early Halloween because they will be out of town. The kids played games, bobbed for ducks and apples, ate witches brew and skin and bones. The final event is a spook alley which they love. What a great time. Thanks Teresa and Bob. Posted by Picasa
