Oakley is dang happy to be a second grader. It is weird for him not to be the youngest at the school. He has it all figured out and is really nice to Cedar trying to comfort her. He gives her advice on her new friends and reminds her she doesn't have to be at school as long as he is. Posted by Picasa

Cedar was so excited to start kindergarten. Edahow Elementary seems like a great school there are only about 300 students in the whole school, and I really like the teachers that the kids got.  Posted by Picasa

Last Week of Summer Vacation.

It is Wednesday Aug. 24th. and Oakley and Cedar are enjoying the last week of summer vacation. They have all the school supplies they need and new backpacks. Oakley starts 2nd grade the 29th and Cedar starts kindergarten the 30th. My last day of babysitting Ashlyn, Taylor and Maddie is Thursday. I am so happy to be done. I think the kids are pretty excited too. We will be able to see alot more friends and family since we don't have to be at home all day. I will have a few hours in the morning while Cedar is at school to get my own work done, which will be amazing. We loved our summer back in Idaho. It really went fast (of course) but we are looking forward to school, soccer and dance.  Posted by Picasa

Just playing out back. Having these older boys play was really fun for all the kids. It made all of them a little braver with the bugs and mud.  Posted by Picasa

Sunday, Pat took us to AF and we went out on the river with mom and dad. The great quest for the big fish. It was a beautiful day and I think they caught 5 fish all together. Oakley loved it and Cedar pretended she caught a ton of fish.  Posted by Picasa

Later Saturday night we met with Cindy's family and went to the Stock Car Races. Dad and mom park there truck and get us our spot and then we can all sit around and watch the races. Mariah, Jeremy, Jonathan, Cedar and Oakley played frisbee and just had fun out in the dirt.  Posted by Picasa

Saturday, we met Grandma Cynda at the pool and the kids played with their cousins, Jeremy and Jonathan. The boys are both 13 and live in Washington near Spokane.  Posted by Picasa
