Daddy took us on a little 4-wheeling adventure in his Jeep. It was really beautiful and a little scary (I'm not very brave on steep slopes and rocks) I got a little scared and couldn't look for part of the way and the kids had been fine until I got scared and then Cedar cried, Oakley did great and loved it. I am just going to post some pics of Pocatello, it looked so cool and we took some of the dogs. They loved the drive and the chance to run around loose.

This is part of the crowd who parked on Marty and Cindy's lawn to watch the fireworks. The wind was out of control so there was close to a 30 to 45 min delay, finally the wind stopped and it was safe to light them. With all this waiting, Cedar couldn't stay awake, she fell asleep right as the first fireworks started. It was sad because for about 4 days she had been asking us how long until the fireworks, and she asked every day. Then it is FINALLY time and she is to pooped to even see them. They were beautiful and it was fun with all our loved ones.

The fireworks were a little bright and loud for these two. I love this pic.

Happy 4th of July!

I forgot to mention, if you didn't know, the 4th of July is my mom and dads anniversary and it is also mom's birthday. It is a very important holiday for our family. Mom turned 65 (she is an awesome beautiful 65 year old, who acts 20 years younger) and they had there 47th anniversary. Here's to an amazing marriage and a wonderful example to us all.

After spending most of the day on the river with mom and dad, we stopped at the Marina and the kids played in the water. Check out that lovely moss. (yeck!) It didn't bother the kids though, they played and got wet and sandy.

Mom and Dad.

This is the boat dock to get in the river. I remember it being so gross when I was little. The fishermen would clean the fish right here and there would be dead fish and guts all over. It wasn't as bad as I remembered it but the kids still found some dismembered fish parts. I don't know why I wanted to share that.

So here we were on the 4th of July. Mom and Dad took us (Steve, Nancy, Danielle, Jenni, Me and Oakley and Cedar. Pat had to work until 3pm that day Bummer!) out on the Snake River. It was a wonderful day. They didn't catch any fish or even get a bite but the river was beautiful and it was nice to be out on the water for a while.

Here is a pic of the tree swing Steve and Nancy have in the back yard. This looks scary to me, but the kids love it.
